Applications

The AXICON 12000 series of two-dimensional barcode verifiers is intended for the verifying of Data Matrix, QR Code, GS1 DataMatrix, GS1 QR Code, GS1 DataBar, PDF and micro-PDF codes. Some models can also verify EAN/UPC, GS1-128 and ITF-14 codes, depending on their size. They are suitable for verifying symbols appearing on product packaging, promotional advertising, and literature, and the 12800 is specially designed for verifying direct-part-marked symbols used on surgical and medical devices, and component parts.

Fully compliant with ISO/IEC 15426-1 and 15426-2, the verifier conformance standards, and ISO/IEC 15415 and 15416, the barcode print quality specifications. They also provide the data files needed to meet the requirements of the USA CFR 21 part II regulations.

Performance Qualification Test Kit

Many companies, especially those in the pharmaceutical sector, will be familiar with Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) testing. These are tests designed to check that the relevant equipment has been installed correctly, that the equipment operates correctly, and then works correctly as intended.

Presentation Mount

This is a purpose-built frame allowing for the Axicon 12000 to be used upside down, so making it much easier to verify barcodes on finished products, whatever their size or shape. It means the verifier does not need to be lifted or moved, and is very useful when it is in high use. This frame may also be physically attached to a bench to remove the risk of the verifier being dropped or knocked.

Tube or vial holder

This is to be used together with the presentation mount, and makes it much easier to achieve the consistently accurate verification of GS1 DataMatrix symbols on small tubes and vials.
